I took a few art classes as part of the architecture program at UT and dabbled with painting some then, but it wasn't until summer 2017 that I really started to paint again. I've been using mostly acrylics, though some pieces are oil and mixed media. I love the freedom of a blank canvas. Some pieces are planned, others end up totally different than I imagined. All of them were fun. Enjoy!

Every coaster is a tiny fluid acrylic painting. Each one is unique, and sets are done in the same colors. I've really been enjoying working on these shiny little guys!

I started taking pictures as a teenager when my Grandmother gave me her 1972 Minolta SLR camera. I love to roam around and change my perspective to get different angles before committing to a shot. Sometimes I get lucky. Right now I primarily use my Nikon digital SLR and of course my iphone. A friend recently told me: "the best camera for candid shots is the one you have with you" :-)
